Lunar Landing – July 20, 1969 – Previously Unreleased Footage & Audio

July 20th has always been a special day for me, because of two things:

(1) My brother Kevin was born on that day in 1974 and
(2) Neil Armstrong took his first steps on the moon.

Now I don’t have video of my brother being born – and hey, Happy Birthday, Kevin – but I do have this:

There’s a lot of controversy surrounding the official story of the Lunar Landing. Of course, we know it happened. But many think the ‘official’ broadcast may have been edited for broadcast. Here now for the first time, with the help of The Onion Radio News, is a segment of unedited audio and video from Neil Armstrong’s first step on the moon, as part of the Apollo 11 Lunar Landing of July 20, 1969.
